This is part of the August Developer Challenge on Joule Studio.

Dear SAP Community,

We SAP Developer Advocates are very much excited to welcome you all to the Week 1 of New Joule Studio Developer Challenge. You could complete this Week's challenge during your coffee-break, that's all it takes and stay on Top of what matters.

AI is fundamentally changing enterprise software and business processes.

SAP’s direction is clear – It is an Autonomous Enterprise that runs specialised AI assistants and AI agents that execute and manage end-to-end business processes and tasks. This challenge helps you align in this direction.

yes, While working on internal projects

I believe that the joule was made available first on successfactors and sap s/4hana.

My first contact with joule was on my organization with succesfactors and also in a developer challenge about ABAP.

Is there any  Joule link explicitly  for  S4HANA TRANSPORTATION MANAGMENT  and BN4L

Hi, This was my first hands-on experience with SAP Joule. I explored Joule Studio and the SAP Learning resources, and it was impressive to see how AI can be seamlessly integrated into enterprise workflows. I look forward to exploring more use cases and agent capabilities.
Thanks

In our project, we created an SAP Joule agent and integrated it with an SAP API by configuring the required input and output parameters. We also provided grounding data to enhance response accuracy. As a result, users can ask questions in the chat about specific fields, and the agent retrieves and returns the corresponding values in real time.

Not yet, in my case. I am an ABAP intern and my day to day is in ADT, so my first proper introduction to Joule was this course rather than the product itself.

The one I am most curious about is Joule inside ADT - a few people in this thread mentioned using it for unit test generation, and that is exactly the part of my work where I would feel the difference.

Thanks for the Week 1 course. Looking forward to the Joule Studio weeks.

My fisrt time  experiencing  was in Joule for Developers  CodeJam  April 2026 conducted by @sheenamk & @Shilpa_Shankar  & March SAP developer Challenge 2026 . It was good exposure to how joule is working with ABAP devs to support as a wingman and reduce the time for deployment.

I have had hands-on experience with Joule in the SAP ecosystem, particularly around SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) use cases.

What I found particularly valuable is how Joule can help developers and users interact with SAP processes and technical content using natural language, reducing the effort required to find information, understand application behavior, and perform development-related tasks.

The experience has also highlighted the potential of Joule beyond simple conversational assistance—especially when it is grounded in enterprise context and integrated with SAP applications and development tools. I’m particularly interested in how these capabilities can evolve to support developers more deeply across the end-to-end SAP development lifecycle.

Used in ADT and learning course for Joule skills

Using Joule Studio Classic for building Joule Skills, Agents and Processes more specific to SuccessFactors letting users perform actions directly in the chat without having to navigate through SuccessFactors menus to achieve the intended goal as POC

Yes! I have had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Joule through the “SAP Get Started with AI 2025 – Bootcamp Joule for Developers” in Spanish. It was a great opportunity to explore Joule for Developers and learn more about its capabilities.

I also use Joule for Consultants on a daily basis in my current work. I mainly use it for questions related to the SAP S/4HANA migration project I am working on, as well as for other SAP topics, especially those related to the FI module. Joule has become a useful resource in my daily work to find information and support different functional and project-related questions.
