This is part of the August Developer Challenge on Joule Studio.

Dear SAP Community,

We SAP Developer Advocates are very much excited to welcome you all to the Week 1 of New Joule Studio Developer Challenge. You could complete this Week's challenge during your coffee-break, that's all it takes and stay on Top of what matters.

AI is fundamentally changing enterprise software and business processes.

SAP’s direction is clear – It is an Autonomous Enterprise that runs specialised AI assistants and AI agents that execute and manage end-to-end business processes and tasks. This challenge helps you align in this direction.

Yes, I have experienced Joule hands-on in SAP SuccessFactors, especially in the Recruiting module. It helps recruiters create job descriptions and interview questions easily and saves time.

Week 1 completed!

I had already used Joule during the March 2026 SAP Developer Challenge. I also use other generative AI tools, so this course was a useful opportunity to understand what differentiates Joule: its SAP business context, role awareness, and ability to coordinate actions across business processes.

It was also interesting to see how quickly the Joule ecosystem is evolving. Looking forward to Week 2!

I haven't had the chance to use Joule hands-on at my organization yet, but I am very excited to learn more about its capabilities and how it integrates with SAP products through this August Developer Challenge

Yes, I got hands-on with Joule during the SAP Community's ABAP Developer Challenge – Joule for Developers (March 2026), guided by @sheenamk  and @Shilpa_Shankar . I set up the Basic Trial with an ABAP environment enabled with Joule, connected it in ADT, and used it to generate a RAP application (data model, CDS views, service definition, and Fiori UI) from a plain-language prompt. A great first look at how SAP's ABAP LLM accelerates RAP development, and it's made me curious to explore Joule Work next!

Yes! I’ve had the opportunity to explore Joule through multiple SAP Developer and AI events. I’ve also completed SAP Learning Hub courses on J4D and SAP Business AI, which gave me a better understanding of Joule’s capabilities and practical use cases across the SAP ecosystem. Looking forward to exploring more of what Joule can do!

I've attended the first Developer Challenge with Joule a couple of months ago where we used the ADT for following the challenges .

My first contact with Joule was in SAP Build, where I created a Full-Stack CAP application using Joule in SAP Business Application Studio as part of SAP Build Code Test Drive.

Later I worked in Joule Studio, where I built Joule Agents and Skills projects that connects to S/4HANA On-Premise System and perform actions like summarise information across different LoBs, update data triggered by incoming emails etc.

I had hands-on experience with Joule for Developers during the SAP Developer Challenge (March 2026), where I explored how it enhances ABAP development. I also experimented with SAP AI Agents using Joule skills. As I'm currently preparing for the SAP Generative AI Certification, this Joule Studio Challenge is a great opportunity to further strengthen my knowledge and gain more practical experience. I'm excited to continue learning!

I have been using Joule on FIORI. Implemented Joule on S/4 HANA.

Using on FIORI for Procurement, Sales and Finance use-cases.

Integrated with MS-Copilot and analyzing use-cases for bidirection use(MS Copilot usage on FIORI-Joule Copilot & Joule queries on MS Co-pilot).

Using Joule APIs on Claude by using MCP connector.

I've seen in a bunch of places, but most notably in S/4HANA, and how you can navigate easily to different screens, or not even use screens to update the data.
