Bit of an easy question to answer that wasn't it.

Surely they should of used the SAP help for that.

Message class maintenance T-code is SE91 ,

messages are stored in table T100,

To create our own message class , Goto se91 and create a message class like 'ZMESS' .

and give message number and short text .

like message number 001 , text 'welcome to sap'.

u can access this from ur report by specifying message class in report .
