Copy and Paste not works for some users

Dear All ,

i have Created Sap Query and assign it to transaction to be used by some employees inside my company . when i try to copy /paste from ALV Grid  using my user which is (SAP_ALL)  everything goes well and the contents of  Row pasted successfully to notepad but when i try to do that using other users with lower privileges old Clipboard contents will be pasted

Please keep in mind that i used both users (with sap_all and other) on same PC and same sap GUI (720)

Hello,

Please try this:

- Once you try to copy/paste with the user that has the problem execute transaction SU53. Does it show any problem or red field?

- Execute a system trace on transaction ST01. On 'General Filters' write your user's name and check the 'Authorization check' checkbox with 'Error only'. Then execute again the program/transaction and once you finish stop the trace and check it. Does it show anything?

- Also, check if the user has the S_GUI in any of his roles with value 61.

Did you trace yourself doing the copy bit and is S_GUI activity 61 present for the other users?

Presume you are still in DEV with SAP_ALL

Check the regular user's buffer with SU56 and look for the following information. This may be why you can view and copy, but they cannot.

Authorization object: S_CTS_ADMI

Authorization field: CTS_ADMFCT

Authorization value: TABL

You may also want to see if you have the option of changing the layout of the report with both the SAP_ALL and the standard user.

Or check in SU01 > Roles if User Master Record is green, if red then qlick this button
Fixed it for me for a default role ;o)

It might be happened when the Quick copy & paste option is active.

Deactivate it then try.

Go to More --> SAP GUI setting & Action --> Quick cut & paste deactivate and try.
