Ztable into runtime.....????

hi.. All....

Now Iam having one ztable with me i tried to enter new entry through SE16 and Utilities-> create entries....

But it was going into runtime error....

Why?

can you give further details on this?

The details of the dump can be checked to know the exact reason..

Might be a change in field structure was done and table maintenance was not re-generated

Here iam giving some error report details....

SHORT TEXT:

Syntax error or generation error in a screen.

WHAT HAPPEND?:

At screen generation it was detected that a screen to be generated has a syntax error or could not be generated due to another error.

ERROR ANALYSIS:

screen 'ZTABLE' 0001 could not be generated.

and,,

sourse corde line indicater stoping at...

>>> ASSIGN (name) TO <vim_tctrl>.

hi,

I thik some part of your table is inactive,

Go to se80 and your package which containg the table

and activate it as a whole

It solves your probem

If it doent help give the exact dump statemnt

this is a problem of table Maintenace Generator(TBG)

1.check whether ur TBG is generated

2.if u have changed the structure of the table after enabling the TBG then this type of error occurs.

3.regernerate the TBG(seperate method to be followed).

4.recreate the TBG.
