Hi,

SAP XI :- is middleware tool .

it is between SAP R/3 & External World.

With Help of SAP XI SAP R/3 can Communicate to any application.

Reason :- SAP XI communicate in form of XML Document.

XML Document is universally Excepted Format.

Future is Great in SAP XI.

SAP XI comes in picture when u want to communicate other

SAP & Non-SAP System.

SAP XI support other format too ( other than XML )
