XI - Security Help

Hi,

I am new in the security area regarding XI. I was looking at the marketplace and found that link:

Does any one of you have this help as a PDF? Or do you have other relevant pdf's which i can download?

I need the help in PDF because i want to read it during the traveling and there I have no internet.

the only security guide in pdf was from the XI 2.0.. is this also actual and useabel?

have you found the guide for the 3.0 oder higher?

unfortunately I've not found the 3.0 doc, though the 2.0 did give me a reasonable overview for a project I did a while back which was on a more recent version.

Do you know if there are main differences beteween 2.0 and 3.0 regarding the security?

To be honest, I didn't really do enough to ID any big differences. All the backend work was just using standard ABAP stack security, and the pre-delivered Java stack roles fulfilled the control requirements for the project. The pdf doc answered any Q's that I had about any authorisation topics.

Given that no end users had access to XI, made it a bit easier!
