wt diff bd69 and we82

Hi to all ,

can anyone explains as to what is the diffrence?

They both are essntially the same, though bd69 says assignment of msg typ to idoc typ and we82 says output typ and assignment to idoc typ.

Usually WE82 is populated in my experience, also i has one extra column the release of the Idoc.

In SAP you will find many transactions starting with WE and BD which seem to do the same thing a bit differently.

Hi kumar,

The differance is WE 82 have another extra column which tells us version.

Remaining alomost all same.

In case you need to reduce any enhanced IDoc type in BD56, you will need this BD69 (table TBDMS) entry before. See SAP Note 104231.
