Hi All,
In my ECC6.0 release 700 system the module WS_DOWNLOAD module is not available. I have checked with se37.
We get a ABAP Dump when we press F4 in any tcode. eg. in SE01 if we press F4 for the USER field it throws the DUMP.
Error in ST22 is "the FORM ABAP_2_DAT" is not available. This is a subroutine in Module WS_Download.
I have tranced this with the Debug but it terminates because the ABAP_2_DAT is not available. This is because WS_Download module itself is not available.
We are SP14 for ABAP And Basis Component. The same module is available in Quality system. Only in our development system this issue is caused.
As this is a SAP STandard module I am not sure how this is missing in the system? Please help if you have any idea on resolving this.
The below is the abap dump:

HI,
Try to see if the object is available in SPAU list.
Probably from there you can try to RESET TO ORIGINAL or adjust as required.

Hi ,
Thanks for the reply. But though it is obsolete the code is still referenced by standard SAP code.
This issue is not in a custom code but in a standard program execution.
The problem is .. if i goto tocode SE01 and press F4 for user field it is completely executiing only SAP Standard code and no custom code. THis is where i get the dump.
So SAP itself is referring to the ws download module. As per notes i understand that they have modified it such that the query is redirectred but my issues i that the WD Download module itself is missing.
In the other system this is available and the F4 Help works fine.

Hi All,
Thanks for the option given. The WS_Download is still referenced by the standard sap program saplgrap when it calls a subroutein ABAP_2_DAT. Thsi module is present in out other instalaltions.
This module is not available in SPAU as this isn ot locked under any requests. So unless we change it through a request i do not believe SPAU will reflect thsi object.
We hva raised issue with SAP also and still waiting for a reply.
Please provide details if you have any of possible way to resolve this.
I found that the tabel TFDIR does not have moduel WD_DOWNLOAD. This is a refernce table to the actual code.
There is a table where the actual code is stored Can anyone help me in identifying this table name?

There was nothing we could find. It was just missing. So we transport the Funciton group from another working IDES ECC6.0 system. It all came back
If you transport a Funciton Group system does not ask for Object key either. The missing funciton module is recreated.

Raghavan
