Hi Workflow gurus,
I have create a workflow to send an external email whenever a project is created(PS) from CJ20N/CJ06/CJ2D.
1. I have used the busines object BUS2001 and event CREATED is the triggering event of my workflow and activated it.
2. In trans BSVZ create a new entry and set StatusOT = PRN, Scheme = (specific to my company, using drop down to select options), BusinessOT = BUS2001 and Event = CREATED.
3. In trans SWETYPV create a new entry for BUS2001, CREATED, Receiver type WSxxxxxxxx.
My workflow gets triggered when a project definition is created.
The real problem is whenever I add a network/activity and save the project using CJ20N again this event is getting triggered and hence results into multiple mails for the same project.
I checked the event triggering log SWEL where i find the same event is getting triggered twice.
Can anybody please explain why this is happening and how can i ensure the event is triggered only once for a project.
Thanks in advance,
Regards,
Vijay

hi Vijay,
if i am not wrong, use T-code to SWUD for your Workflow diagnosis,
there could be 2 tasks that triggers the workflow.

Hi! The problem is that you set the StatusOT to "PRN", which is (by definition) the creation of a new PSP Element ==> hence the WF gets triggered, respectively the Event gets triggered, every time you create or change a network element.
The solution is to change the StatusOT to "PDN" so the event gets triggered only when a projectdefinition is created.
