Work Flow

Hi ,

We are starting our new work flow project. We are new to workflow , Can any one send step by step document to begin with Workflow to my mail id .

Mail Id : renjith_sapr3@yahoo.co.in

Do we need to do any configuration in Production servers on basis level to start workflow ? Or Do we need to do some configuration to send and receive mail between users when work flow is triggered .

If possible explain me with a simple scenario like when a material is created we need to send a mail about the material creation to some official in the relevant dept .
