Which table contains the text to program type

Hello

Please could some one tell me which table contains the long text to Program Type?

Normally the Program Type can be viewed under Goto -->Attributes. Under Attributes you can select either one of the following(Executable, Include, Module Pool, Function Group, Subroutine Pool, Interface Pool and Class Pool).

I have checked in TRDIR and some other tables but this tables contains only the Field SUBC, which is the 1 CHAR program type (1, M, F,S,J,K). I am looking for the long text to the 1 CHAR program type.

Hi nadin ram,

These are not stored in the table level these are store in the domain Value range level.

If you want to find the full distring of that one character you call go like this

Go to se11 - - > Open the domain SUBC - -> click Value Range

(In this there is a long text for the program type)

If you want the table you can procede like this..

Go to DD07t - - > execute the table - - > give domain name SUBC and languate EN - - > execute that.

TRDIRT contains the Report title. REPOSRC conatins only the 1 CHAR Program type.

I still think that there is either a table or a FM that will enable you to read these text at the Domain level. Does any body know the FM?

Hi Nadin,

TRDIR is the VIEW of table REPOSRC. Look with SE11 into this table. Look with doubleclick

on data element SUBC, then doubleclick on domain SUBC. On Value Range you see

the entries of single Vals.

You can also look into table DD07L DD07T with key SUBC.

You can find the text in table DD07T.

Your selection will be DOMNAME = 'SUBC' and DDLANGUAGE = sy-langu.

You can get the text in DDTEXT field.

Hi...

Try using this function module to get the domain values

DOMAIN_VALUE_GET.

Pass the 1 CHAR ie., program type and get the long text

For all the values at a time

Use DDUT_DOMVALUES_GET

Hi,

I am not too sure if there is any table which stores the Text, but you can do 1 thing... since there are only 7 entries (1, I, M, F, S, J, K)... you can make entries in your ZCONSTANT table and query on that table based on the Program Type and get your long text value.

WOW. These Values are stored in the Table DD07V or DD07T.
