Hi Santhosh and Vinodh,

Suppose if at all if we want restrict the users , then we can use sy-uname field, as that is also a unique field, what is the necessity to go to DEVACCESS table and then select accessskey number and do all stuff ?.

GP

Hello,

for getting the access key, you have to registre the developer in the SAP. So, SAP must know how many developers are there for perticular system.

No

How many different developers there have been. Not how many there are. But why would SAP care about the number of developers?

Example: I take on 40 developers for my initial development and go-live. Then after go-live I only need 10 developers, so I get rid of the rest. Two years later I have a new project and take on 20 different developers and 2 I previously used. How many developers does SAP NEED to know about?
