Hi friends,
I am sandip, I am in confusion please help me, thanks in advance. My problem is, I have completed M.C.A. and now working in private firm. For first few months I worked on JAVA web application (Servlet, JSP) and as a part of project I came to the SAP-JCO connector I worked on ABAP (RFC for fetching data from R/3). Now I am thinking that for future career I want to choose ABAP and explore more about it. But the problem is that I am in confusion what I have to choose as my future. Please help me thanks again.

Dear Sandip,
Well I think you should choose a company wherein you get a better exposure in any of the technologies you have mentioned. Considering your academic profile, both the technologies are suited for you. Coming to the market scenario, I think both the technologies are doing good.
Do let me know in case of any queries.
Hope this helps you.
Do award points if you found them useful.
Regards,
Rakesh

hi,
If u have the learning curve in you, i would suggest u go for ABAP , bcz the market is flodded with java proffessionals, so try out with ABAP, as SAP is hot now and will reman so for some time to come.
Market is still short of ABAP proff, Do go for it if u are interested in it.
HOpe this is helpful to you, DO reward.

Hi Sandeep,
These kind of questions are better suited to the coffee corner discussions or general technical discussions, so try to post in one suitable place, but I would also remind you of some ground rules:
1) Search before you post, your answers are very possibly sitting here in the forums already
2) Don't ask for personal communications to your email as the forum is a place to consolidate answers for public consumption
3) Do read the [community guidelines|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/communityguidelines] and [rules of engagement|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/x/FgQ]
