Hi

Sandbox is the client in all organisations where developers, business analysts will have the authorizations for most of the transactions so that they can try out everything there.

Hi,

Sandbox – The term used to identify a client that has been built and maintained for use by developers, testers, validators, instructors, or trainees to practice transactions without fear of contaminating system data. Information entered into this system is usually lost the next time it is refreshed or rebuilt.

Sandbox is the environment where u initially develop your programs, where the dummy data exits for testing purpose in some client locations u will have this sandbox only for testing your program once u developed it.

That is this is the environment before the testing phase where u develop u r programs

Please refer the below forum,

I hope this give you a clear idea.

Sandbox systems are systems which are provided to users to play around with. Users can try out new technologies and do some hands on ,without having to think of related consequences to the quality or production systems.

They are based on some standard release version. They are generally not configured/connected any Dev/QA/Production landscape.

Hi Kalpana,

This is environment, where u can intially create ur programs, this contains not the important data. U can play around with the data. Not only that if want to design techspecs from the functional specs then some times its better to desing the program outlines and store it in temporary folder to write the tech spechs correctly n effectively at that time u will desing those objects in sandbox.

Any training related things u can do here

Once the tech specs signed off and u asked to desing the code then u will go into the dev environment and start writing the program

I think i gave u some idea..
