What is Rtype in structures?

I am confused with RType(available at version 4.7) while creating a structure, what is it?

This flag is set when you have a field in your structure which is a reference to a class or interface.

Well lets say that you want to create a structure which has some fields in it as well as an instance of some class. Say something like this.

Employee Number

Last Name

First Name

Payroll Object

Here you have the first three fields as regular fields, and then a field to hold the object reference of the Payroll class which could hold all of the data relating to payroll for that employee. This is a very basic example, but you get the idea. This structure is simply a way to group data for this employee into a common structure, you could then also create a table type of this structure and this could then hold all of the data for all employees, each record would have a separate instance of the payroll class containing different data. Make sense?
