In addition to activating it, I think you need to publish it.

Was it developed in SE80?

Hi Rob,

Thanks for getting back to me well yea the Handler method was created in SE24 and then it was included in the service that i created in SICF.

what do you mean creating in SE80 can this be done in SE80 also ?

Sorry - I was thinking internet service rather than web service. You might find that this helps:

That's fine, what is the difference between an internet service and web service ?

Internet services are older technology and run on an ITS.
