WebService Authentication

Hello,

I have a question regarding the user authentication to the j2ee enginge. We are trying to call a guided procedures webservice from a java servlet, but we need to authenticate to perform the guided procedure.

The component of the j2ee engine is the <i>AInstantiation</i> (<a href="http://<host>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/caf_eugp_uiinst/AInstantiation">http://<host>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/caf_eugp_uiinst/AInstantiation</a>).

Is there a easy way set the authentication in the servlet?

At this point it doesn't matter if the solution is not as secure as possible, its only a proof-of-concept. So plaintext for user and password would be okay for this scenario.
