Hi Samuel,
apart from ip and server name , you must also have some host files for web dynpro.
Make sure you have all this files

maybe you don't put the good host, sometimes the host used in the URL is not the short one your see in the right lower corner. it could be machine_name.domain_name.COM
try to open a webdynpro in the SICF trans. and test it you will see the full host

Hi Samuel,
Mention your system IP and domain name in the host file of your system. A Basis guy can help you to sort the issue.

Your error is a DNS error that means your system doesn't find the IP address corresponding to the host of the server.
could you go in SICF trans. find a webdynpro activate, and with the right click on the mouse choose : test
you will find the host in the URL open in the browser

Hi Samuel,
Not working. Fine Do one more thing along with it, In Internet Explorer choose Tools -> Internet Options -> Connections (tab) -> LAN Settings -> Advanced -> Exceptions enter your IP (If it is 192.23.44...) mention it as 192* seperated by colon (;) and also Domain ( if it is sdff.sap.com ) mention it as sdff* and then try to do it.
Note: We have done these if we were using LAN cables and If the View is not shown in IE. Its just a trial method.
With Regards,
