i dont have web dynpro in my drop down list? shoul I instal that or what?

If you are referring to Web Dynpro Component in SE80, then you do not have the right system. You need to have the Netweaver 2004s system. WebAS 7.0

What system do you have, from main menu at top of gui, choose "System", then "Status". What does it say in Component Version.
