Hi,
I'm using WE19 to re-process a status 51 IDOC that was originally generated using LSMW. The valadation error caused was due to the format of an email address. I use the IDOC from LSMW as a template in WE19 and edit the email address in one of the segments. I then reprocess the IDOC using standard inbound processing. When I look up the reposted IDOC in WE02, the email address changes I made have not been saved. Therefore I get the same error and the new IDOC is set to status 51.
How do I save the changes I have made to the email address in WE19?
Any help with this would be greatly appreciated
Regards,
Philip Johannesen

Hi Philip,
Follow the below Steps to save the changes in IDOC:
Before WE19.
1) Goto WE02/WE05 , Give the IDOC Number.
2) Drop down the list of Data Records (left side)
3) Double click on complete left edge(Symbol looks like
a book) of the segment where u want to change the
field.
4) It will show the other screen --> Then
Data record menu--> Select the Option Display/Change
Now it will give all the fields under that segment
(Filled fields as well as Empty)
Here pass the value for EMAIL (Ur req. )and press SAVE
Button.
Then u can do the manipulations in WE19

Hi Philip,
These are related to CRM.. I dont know much about this.
But normally we will save the changes of the IDOC in the above procedure. Check it once...There might be small probs.
Thanks
Eswar
