VL04 - Poor performance

Hi All,

Can anybody suggest the performance improvements for VL04 (program name is SAPMV50S). I had a look at the OSS notes but did not find anything. i appreciate if you could suggest any OS notes, or any Index's on tables or anything which improve the performance.

Didn't find any? I saw almost ninety of them. Have another look.

poor performance with a SD standard transaction ... ?

I would have some doubts, it is not the SD-benchmark, but close.

Maybe the problems are related to your system, or the usage.

Thanks for your reply, We have SD rescheduling Program and some other programs which are running very normal but not the Delivery Due list (VL04), I did a search on OSS notes but not found any note, i am in a assumption that i am missing some thing when i was searching the OSS notes, i definitely say that there will be some OSS notes to improve the performance.

Could you please let me know any performance improvements on this VL04 (SAPMV50S) program?

You could run this through a SE30 or ST05 analysis and see where it spends most of the time, to refine your OSS search. Like the other gentlemen said, there is almost 90 notes for "VL04 performance", so without knowing your release and patch level and the exact circumstances we cannot recommend a specific fix.

Why don't you open a message to SAP in OSS and let them attach the correct fix for the problem?
