while using Vl01n the plant data is not populated automatically. I have found an user exit USEREXIT_BATCH_DETERMINATION.

to write the code , but it is not triggerring and also tried both implicit and explicit enhancements.

How to solve it.

Hi,

In customer data, complete this data in SD/delivery. You don't need use userexits for this.

I forgot. Check if in SO is populated this field too.

Thank you for the quick response. Can you please explain what is SO and how to populate the Plant data i.e WERKS in the VL01N by default and where is the exact location to write the code . I am not able to figure it out.

Hi,

if you populate the field in sales area data / shipping / delivering plant, this value is populated in SO (ie: VBAP-WERKS). If you see the help (F1) you can read:

Delivering Plant (Own or External)

    Plant from which the goods should be delivered to the customer.

Use

    This plant is automatically copied into the sales order item as the
    default value.

Procedure

    If there is no default value when you process the sales order item,
    enter a delivering plant.

    The value proposed in the item is either

    o   from the customer master record of the goods recipient, or

    o   from the material master record

After, with the copy rules between SO and deliv is copied to LIPS-WERKS (see tcode VTLA). My suggestion, avoid mantain this kind of settings in userexit when you have a lot of possibilities in functionality.

HI Eduardo,

I am sorry that I am not able to provide the exact question. Please have a look at this description and help me to figure it out.

Question : I am using a user exit in transaction vl01n ( Create outbound delivery ) for filling default storage location.

I am not able to find the exact user exit , where to implement the code . Main thing is we have fill the plant i.e WERKS based on the shipping point in VL01n automatically. i.e when the delivary is executed we will fill the shipping locaiton , then the plant data has to replicate in the delivary order automatically depends on the shipping point.

HI ,

we can default the plant data in VL01N by using an implicit enhancement in the screen 1708 in the PBO module , this is the exact location where we can default the plant data.

The include program is " MV50AF0F_FEILDAUSWAHL"

FORM

tables tvswz.

select single * from tvswz into tvswz where vstel = likp-vstel.

lips-werks = tvswz-werks .

ENDFORM .
