Hello Experts:

Can you tell me what is the most recent version of FireFighter that is available?

Is it bundled within a version of Compliance Calibrator, if so which version?

We recently installed CC version 4.0 and it appears it came with Firefighter version 3.0. Would I be correct in my assumption?

Hi Nick,

the most recent version is FireFighter 5.2.

FireFighter is not bundled anymore within CC, but you're right, in former releases it was.

The most current released version of FF is 3.0. It is bundled with Compliance Calibrator but you must also have licensed FF in order to use it.

5.2 is the next release of FF. The ABAP component is still bundled with the Compliance Calibrator ABAP component. There will be a FF java component with 5.2 you can use for reporting if you like.

Is there a SAP Best Practices Guide for using the SAP Virsa FireFighter tool? I am getting requests to grant Super Users their FireFighter Log-On for extended periods of time (i.e., 3 months per instance) that I believe contradict the whole purpose for the tool. I am looking for an objective SAP document that I can reference stating that FireFighter ID's should only be logged on for true emergency situations.
