View IMG Only

Hi,

We have user who requested to view IMG setting. How to enable VIEW only for IMG setting? Is this possible, and how?

I notice in IMG, there's project administration.

Can I create a project with the relevant IMG (like FIN only), will it affect the existing IMG setting that key users have set?

Will the new project copied the existing IMG setting values that key users have set?

Or key users have to set again in the new project?

Appreciate any guidelines.

Hi ZL Goay,

This question has been asked several times with variations in answer. Search for terms "SPRO AND display" and read the documentation on authorization object S_PROJECT to find more infos on how to create projects and pull SPRO nodes into a role.

For example:

Note that there is more to "display" than setting all activity (ACTVT) fields to '03'. There are many other fields which are activity or action related.
