version management in smart forms

Please let me know how to find version management in smartforms (ECC 6).

I dont think that there is version management in Smartforms....Myself have been looking for this...but not sure

Hi,

There is no version management in smartforms as such, infact it is non existent...but in case ur requirement is to save a copy of the form u can download the smartform on your system and later upload it if required or create a backup copy of the existing form under a different name in your development system until the new version is working reliably in Production;

In SE03 transaction - select Search for objects in request and execute.

give R3TR SSFO and Your smartform name and select both modifiable and

released at bottom and execute.

You will get all requests available for the smartform.

This may help you to find the number of changes done to the smartform.

and for comparison one simple method is download form info(copy to a MS Word file)... in both servers...

and then compare the two word documents.. it will give u line by line changes on the SF
