vendor master upload

Hi all,

I need to upload vendor master data programitically (not LSMW).

I need to use either BAPI or any other FM.

Can anyone pls let me know if the FMs exist.

I cant use BAPI_VENDOR_CREATE as we cant upload whole vendor data using the above FM.

Pls suggest me an alternative for this.

Hi Priya,

Why dont u use BDC for uploading vendor master data? The BAPI for creating vendor master is very inefficient.

Using BDC will help u while extending the vendor also. If u r going to use BDC, be careful while handling the 'Vendor account group' as the subsequent screen sequence may vary depending upon the values in this field.

Hi Priya,

You can use standard batch input program RFBIKR00 to upload vendors.
