Hi!
Since there is no BAPI to create a Vendor (XK01) without GUI (BAPI_VENDOR_CREATE uses call transaction and brings up a GUI), I wanted to try call transaction to create a vendor without GUI. The problem now is, that the screen shown by the Batch-Input Recorder for XK01 is different from the screen using XK01 directly. So far, I recognized, that the filed for "house number" is missing. Can anybody help me here? Goal is to create a vendor without GUI from an external system using a RFC connection.
Thanks,
Konrad

Make sure that the switch for "central address management" is switched on in the initial screen.
perform dynpro
tables bdcdata
using:
'X' 'SAPMF02K' '0105', "Create Vendor: Initial Screen
' ' 'USE_ZAV' 'X'.Rob

Hello Konrad,
you can use the Enterprise Service SupplierERPCreateRequest_In.
You will need EhP 4 do do this.

Hi!
Could you please give me a little more information about this. Right now, I'm using call transaction together with a bdcdata-table to insert my values but I have now idea what your perform dynpro call would be and how I can use it...
Thanks,
Konrad

While you are recording the transaction XK01 using SHDB, in the initial screen of XK01, you will have a check box named 'Central Address Management' at the bottom. Click that checkbox and start recording. Thats what Rob mentioned.

Wow, I haven't noticed this little checkbox but it does the trick!!
Many thanks to all of you...

HI,
U can try this BAPI..
call function 'VENDOR_INSERT'
exporting
i_lfa1 =
i_lfb1 =
i_lfm1 =
tables
t_xlfas =
t_xlfb5 =
t_xlfbk =
t_xlfza = .
call function 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT'.

Yeah, I read about this function but it is mainly not recommended to be used since it operates directly on the database. Maybe I will try it if the call transaction scenario does not work for me!
Thanks,
Konrad
