How to use varients in back ground processing

Hi rakesh

Create the desired variant in the program say var1

sm37 > step > giv program name and variant say var1

you will be gettig the variant using the f4 help itself.

Hi,

Try these steps.

1.In your selection screen give the values for the parameters and select options and click save icon.

2.It will ask for the variant name. Give a name and save it.

3.And in the same selection screen from the menu PROGRAM------->select EXECUTE IN BACKGROUND. It is now scheduled for background processing. 4.Use TCODE SM37 and get the output of the report.

Hi Rakesh,

Go to SE93 while maintian Transaction-> in the start object u can use->Transaction with Variant(variant transaction).
