Variant configuration deactivate characteristic value

Hello togehter,

I hope s.o. can help me.

I got the requirement to deactivate (not delete!) some single characteristic values in the variant configuration.

So in the sales order, when configurate an item, the deactivated values should not be selectable / viewable.

Has anyone an idea, if this is possible and where to delevop it?

I didn't found any standard solution for that.

Just an idea: Maybe you can assign dependencies to the characteristic values in CT04 to hide them.

thanks for your idea. I had the same idea. How would you code that in the dependencies?

Any ideas? Im not the "dependencies expert".

Do you know if there are any dependecies in other process like PP aso?
