yes u can do it...The domain should be able to hold this data...Declare the domain which can hold so long data...

I created domain 40 characters long and still I can't enter in the value range

more than 10 characters long.

This seems to be a restriction as the DOMAIN for storing the value range is defined of length 10 Chars.

U can enter only upto 10 charaters

what u can do is create a value table for the same and assign it to that domain

The lower limit(VAL_LOWER) and the Upper limit lenghts are CHAR 10 only

Yes, you can. It depends on the lenght of the domain what you have given. If you domain lenght is equal or great than 10 you can obviously give 10 character lenght range.
