validating data entered on screen

HI experts,

I created a screen 101 with three i/o fields A, B, C.

Created a push button that will subtract A and B and display result in C.

Now i want to display an error message if the user enters lower value for A and higher value for B.

Is there any command like at screen 101?

I think i can not use at selelction-screen as it is screen 101.

Plz show me a way to dela with this.
