Hi,
I have activated a project through CMOD transaction and implemented user exit. ( all icons are green).
The code of a exit is active as well.
When I debug a program then and put a break-point on command CALL CUSTOMER-FUNCTION '009' the execution will skip to the next command in a source code (after pressing F5) and is not going through a code in user exit.
Can anybody give me an advice why code of my user exit is not processed ?
Thank you.

May be the transaction you are using is not triggering the user-exit.
Plz mention the transaction and user exit you are using, then we can help

Hi,
the exit name is EXIT_SAPLVEDA_009. It should be run when Sales Order is created by IDOC.
I test it by WE19.

Try to deactivate and reactivate your project.
Or check these notes :
program SAPRSMODCHECK (Note 12831) checks incoherent projects
Note 15446 - CMOD: Function exit is not active

hello
first you try to reactivate your exits and project,
even then if the control is not going to the exit, then try to find out if that exit is being triggered or not,you can do it bye putting a breakpint in the class CL_exithandler's get instance method from SE24,
then find the exit names from there ,then do the same what you r doing before.

Hello Marian,
If your user exit is not getting triggered for the required functionality you can search for a BADI for your transaction used this can be done by:
To find a BAdi in any transaction,
First go to SE24, in the object type name give CL_EXITHANDLER and open it in display mode.
Various Methods will be available double click on to GET INSTANCE method.
You will be taken to CALL METHOD cl_exithandler=>get_class_name_by_interface area.
Set a breakpoint above this method call.
Now,execute your standard transaction normally from the command prompt.
The transaction will automatically go into debugging mode and while debugging check the badi's in the by typing EXIT_NAME below the debugging area and press F5 with each step.
For every screen this EXIT_NAME will give you BADI's involved with every screen being executed.
For whichever screen's functionality you want you can get the BADI of it by this .
Then you have to find out the methods present in that particular BADI by which with your coding in that method's body you can enhance that particular programs functionality.
After getting the BAdi's name thru se18 you can see metthods present in each badi.
Now, After getting the BADI's name you have to implement that badi, which will be done thru se19.
Give an implementation Class's name with each BADI's name which you want to implement in Create Implementation Area.
After that it will show you the methods present in that badi , into each method's body you can set a breakpoint or can call function module popup_to_inform to see where this method is actually getting called.
In appropriate method's body found you can write your code to add your functionality.
Hope this helps you.
Thanks Mansi

Hi Marian,
Put an hard coded "break-point" there and try again.

Hi,
The best solution is first to put the break point in the USER_EXIT itself and check it been hit or not.
If not then this mean this is the wromg User Exit you are looking at. Try to find out some other exit or may be there must exist a BADI for this enhancement which can easily be found out through SE24, as explained in some of the above post.
If break point is being hit then it means your project is neither activate properly, deactivate it and reactivate it again.
Hope this will help you out in solving your problem.
