Hi,

I would like to know if there is any draw back for userexit. Can we change the content of a field in the std program using userexit?

Hi Kelly,

User exits are one of the tools available for enhancing standard SAP. Though user exits are comparitively older technique to Business ADDins they exists in modules such as SD and you can very well use them to change the contents of SAP fields.
