User data - Company address assignment

Hi All,

Some of our users are looking at maintaing their company address data. Is Su01 / Su3 the right way to maintain this information? Is S_ADDRESS - activity create a sensitive object?

Hi Vijaya,

This object is used for maintaining the address of the user. Depends upon your requirement whether the Function, organization field is important for you from reporting purpose.

We user the department/Function field in reporting for distinguishing users across locations.

It all depends upon requirement. It does not change any authorization for user but yes address of user at most.

In Addition to above answer, SU3 can be given to user to maintain the address if you want users them selves to maintain their address it some times leads to different entries whihc cant be interpret or dont have any meaning.
