Hi,

Client 000/001 are SAP standard clients.Changes to these clients is not recommended. However you can create new users with already existing user DDIC.But make sure you select the copy profile SAP_USER when you do client copy from 000 to any of the new clients, so that the users present in the client 000 will also be copied to the newly created client.

Cheers,

Bharath

Hi

Yes you can create new user in client 000 via DDIC.but best way is you create new client and login this client via SAP* password pass and create new user via SU01.

rewards points if helpful

Thanks

Hi,

It is possible to create users in client 000 with DDIC user. But it is recommended to do a Client copy with SAP_ALL and SAP_USERS, and create a User ID of your own.

Hope it helps.

Please award points if it is useful.

Thanks & Regards,

Santosh

Hello Rama,

You can create a new user with either DDIC or SAP* or any of the other existing users in client 000. No issues will occur if you create a new user while usin a non DDIC user. Plain and simple.

Though as others suggest if you intend to use this user to make customising changes etc. then better dont create it.000 should be changed really. However if this user is being created for basis activities then nothing wrong.

Security auditors will also prefer to have non DDIC or non SAP* users doing basis work in 000.

Regards.

Ruchit.

yes Brother,

you can do with DDIC user in client 000. but 000 client is default client.

so better to create a new client Using SCC4 and create users in that new client with the user SAP* with password pass.

u have to logon with SAP* with pass bcoz the user id SAP* AND password pass is the hord-coded for newly created clients... then u can create another new users with SU01.

award points if the solution is usefull...
