Use BOPF with ABAP in Eclipse?

Hi,

I want to investigate the great possibilities of BOPF in ADT.

After trying to create a new BOPF Business Object I received the error "Development object type is not supported....".

We currently running 7.40 SP12 on EHP7.

SAP_BASIS         740 SP0012

SAP_ABA            740 SP0012

SAP_BS_FND      747 SP0010

Does this version not match the minimum requirements to develop BOPF - Objects in ADT?

Do you use the latest ADT client 2.58?

Hello Thomas, with ADT 2.54 the call of BOPF Editor works. With ADT 2.58 unfortunately, an error occurs (Failed to create the part's controls). I have already opened a customer message. Geeting Reinhard

can you check if the note 2195181 is implemented: There has been some issue with the backend services in BOPF and this note is not contained in SAP_BS_FND SP 10 to the best of my knowledge

i'm working with the latests ADT Plugin 2.58. The SNote 2195181 is not implementable in our dev. system.

Hi Christian,

I found the issue and corrected it with note "2292856 - Business Object Editor/Wizard not working in AiE 2.58". But the SNote 2195181 is a prerequisite to implement the new note. Both notes are valid from SAP_BS_FND 74705 and hence should ideally not cause an issue since you are on 74710. If you are unable to implement the notes then can you create an OSS with all the support information so that we can look into it in detail?

Hi Shyam,

i was able to implement note 2292856 without importing 2195181.

There was no dependencies in SNOTE to 2195181 and Eclipse is working fine.

I saw the oss 2195181 is included in 747-SP10 which is already installed on our dev. servers.
