Upload data in other language

Hi,

I have a program that can upload files that contains chinese word using BAPI.

When I logon to SAP system, I have to logon using chinese - "ZH" and start uploading files using my program, so that when i go to FB03 and check the data, I am able to see that data are in Chinese characters.

If I logon in EN and upload data, in the FB03, those chinese characters are displayed in ?????

I wonder is there any solution for this? Most of my key users logon in EN. If they want to run this report, they have to log off and logon in ZH, which is quite troublesome.

Can you maintain the language translation for the texts using SE63.

Just check this .

Go to Transaction SE63 and maintain the translation of the texts in English.

I hope it will work

Thanks for prompt reply!

Well, the chinese characters in excel file could be vary because they are products name. Maintain in SE63 might not be able to match all the cases.

i don think there is no other option..

i think u shud upload file with Chinese char only and once the data is there in SAP System ,u can maintain the translation of them in English language in the concerned table ,u can use Se63 for tht..otherwise just make a excel of eng texts and upload it to the concerned table via program.

Hi!

I know the reason I can't see chinese characters during debugging if I logon to English SAP system.

I should click "Customizing Local Layout" at application bar --> Character Set --> Simplified Chinese. Those chinese characters that appear in ??? while debugging will change to proper chinese characters and uploaded successfully.

If I go to FB03 and see the chinese characters in »áÒéÆڼ俧·È·ÑÓÃ, perform the same steps and those weird code will change to proper chinese as well.
