I am upgrading from 4.0b to ECC 6.0. What will happen to programs using Write & on change of statements. Are these statement supported in ECC 6.0. Should all these must be converted to ALV before upgrade itself.
I am upgrading from 4.0b to ECC 6.0. What will happen to programs using Write & on change of statements. Are these statement supported in ECC 6.0. Should all these must be converted to ALV before upgrade itself.
in ECC version goto that program say syntax check/EPC. you will get the list of obsolete function modules,statements etc... which are not supported in this new version. replace them with the new commands. that would be enough.
ALV is just to display output in user friendly manner with few features. all WRITE statements works in ECC also. so no need to do any conversion to ALV.
Correct all the errors that are listed in EPC and tool( in case if you are making use of any tool ) for Upgrading. Other statements must be left as it is as they even work in the ECC version.
