I want know about Upgradation production support brieaf history.In the mean time What is Upgradation ? and What is production support? Pls send me these details.

Upgradation:

SAP is having Different versions like 4.6A,4.6B, 4.6C, ECC 5.0 & ECC 6.0...

From abapers point of view, absolete abap statement & Function Modules have to be replaced by new statements and function modules in upgradation.

Production Support:

This is used by end user, where we don't have access to this system unless they need support on this system.

The support given on this system is known as production support.
