Hello,
I have a following situation:
I have a internal table in which data is coming from a input file.
i_tab[]
bname....kostl
ZHJFJ.....2367
HHJTY.....3498
:
:
I want to update the data from this internal table to my custom Ztable as follows.
If the record does not exist in custom table, then it should get inserted, if it already existed for a given user (bname), then it should get updated as follows:
bname...new_kostl...old_kostl
newkostl should get updated with kostl from internal table
old_kostl should get updated with new_kostl of custom table itself
Regards,
Rajesh.

Hi,
Steps:
1. Fetch data from Custom Table for all entries in internal table into another internal table.
2. Loop at second internal table and update first internal table as per your logic.
If the record does not exist in custom table, then it should get inserted, if it already existed for a given user (bname), then it should get updated as follows:
bname...new_kostl...old_kostl
newkostl should get updated with kostl from internal table
oldkostl should get updated with new_kostl of custom table itself_
3. Update custom table from internal table.
Regards,
Srilatha.
