hi,

i have a alv report and the user can update one of the column.

my question is : only when the user want to update data, he should click dbl click,

and than the data is changed in the internal table.

if the user wont dbl click, the programm dont know that he made any changes.

how can i change the program that the user will not has to dbl click to change

the data that he insert.

i dont use oo.

To make the changes available to the program, an event has to occur on the screen. A double click is an event that is triggering the change. Inevitably an event such as a pushbutton click or a double click has to happen.

If you do not want to have a single click, try setting the HOTSPOT in the field catalog. This will allow a single click for change. ELse add a pushbutton on application tool bar and handle it in the FORM for event USER_COMMAND

Hi,

If you are using the REUSE_ALV_LIST_DISPLAY.

you need to set the HOT SPOT for the field in the field catalog (i.e., hotspot_fieldname, key_hotspot) and write the code user command in the form routine declared in the function module at I_CALLBACK_USER_COMMAND.

i did something else,i add a icon and the user will have to click dbl click on the icon for update.
