Upating custom fields in MSEG table

Hi all,

To give an overview of my problem, we have added 12 fields in MSEG in include structure CI_COBL and added those fields in MIGO transaction in a new tab strip. The problem now is when we post the material document these custom fields are not updated in MSEG. The BADI which I am using for this is MB_MIGO_BADI.

If any body knows the solution please let me know it would be great help for me.

Hi Suri ,

check u are getting all the Z fields @ this BADI ? In gen, u cannt COMMIT the Work while u are in BADI . If ur fields are avail in this method u can update or else u cannt ? So check are u getting the Zfields in IMSEG.

Hi Prabhu,

To give u more insight, these 12 fields which we added in the MIGO are also added in the PO. so, when we are doing GR against PO in MIGO, the z fields which we have given while PO creation are appearing in MIGO and also getting updated in MSEG. But, the real problem is if user wants to change those z fields in MIGO, the changed values are not updating in MIGO.

I hope u got my point. Please let me know if you have any ideas on this.
