Hi all
I would like to use UOM for our products but the point is that no 2 items have the same boxquantities..
example:
B90R-125 : 130 pcs in a box
MR-125 : 112 pcs in a box
MB-125 : 100 pcs in a box
so if I enter 1 box is 100 pcs, this will not be correct for the other items
please advice!

Are you new here?
You need to provide more detail in your question, and also choose the correct forum. I don't think ABAP is where you should be posting this imho.

yes I'm new!
What more can I say? I want to use UOM 'box' but the quantities are different for each other item..
how can I arrange this?
We're buying in pieces/boxes and sell in pieces/boxes, I want to use barcode scanning so I need to determine how many pieces in a box.
regards

this is clearly the wrong place to post this question. that being said, each material has it's own unit of measure conversion, stored in table MARM, and maintained in MM01/MM02.
in MM02, click the toolbar button for additional data. then click units of measure. establish a box as "X" number of Eaches. Do the same for all materials with a BOX UOM. it is material number specific.
We have found that it is easier to maintain the base unit of measure as EAches, and the order unit of measure as BOX. This makes viewing inventory quite a bit simpler for us anyway, becuase you are not always having to figure out how many are in a box.
Also note, this type of conversion can also be entered at the vendor info record level, since we may buy from vendor A in boxes of 10 and from vendor B in boxes of 50, etc..

Hi Ludwing!,
Your requirement is not clear. If you enter a quantityt is correct depend if your base is correct. Check this MF. MD_CONVERT_MATERIAL_UNIT or UNIT_CONVERSION_SIMPLE.
Please tell me wich is what you want?
Regards.

Hi,
I don't believe the ABAP space is the correct one for this discussion, however seeing as there has already been some useful answers I will lock the topic rather than delete it.
I would suggest you put some more thought into your question if you decide to re-post it, and also think about where it should be posted on SCN, as it doesn't look like an ABAP question.
Cheers,
G.
