Hi All,
One of my clients will be upgrading their system to Unicode in the next few months.
Does anyone have experiences to share of this process with respect to security.
I know that it can cause problems with portals, however that is not an issue here as it's the ABAP stack that I am most interested in.

Hi Alex,
You might have some difficulty in assigning authorizations to implement SAP note 857532, but I am sure that you will overcome those difficulties.
Other than that, I have not heard of anything specific.

Unicode upgrade went live in production a while back and no problems to report from a security side.
No issues which have subsequently been identified have been traced back to teh Unicode upgrade being the cause.
