Can we declare a parameter by using string data type when i creating this i got error it is nessary to create to me plz send me answer it's urgent.

It is possible in NetWeaver 7.0. Not sure about previous releases.

PARAMETERS: p_str type string.

Hi Satwika,

Try This,

Parameters p_str(250) type c.

data w_str type string.

at selection-screen.

w_str = p_str.

then user w_str insted of p_str.
