Trigger IDOC creation

Hi All

We are creating IDOCS with message type WMTORD. Today our SAP is running on a windows machine. We have created a windows service, which scans the local directory and transferes the idoc each 15 seconds by ftp to another machine. We do not want to have mapped drives or something else.

Now our SAP will move to a unix machine and my service will not work anymore. I'm looking for a SAP solution to transfer those files in a short inverval without planify a job that will blow up my job log.

I read some times about a user exit in the job creation. Is this the best way? Has somebody an other idea?

Thank you

Herbert

Hi!

Like windows, unix has also its scheduler. Unfortunately I don't remember how could you do this, but on a unix forum, people in 5 mins will tell you that...

We are using jobs, and our job log is full with jobs, but it do not disturbs anyone. Not disturbing, because mostly only the problematics jobs are needed, and you can select the jobs with their statuses.
