Transposrt request for standard text

Hi,

I have made changes to a standard text in SO10. It didnt ask for any transport request. IN se10 i created a workbench request. But the task is for this request is unclassified. How would i change it to Development/correction.

Please let me know.

right click on the task & change the type.. use RSTXTRAN report to include Std texts ..

In the menu..Request/task -> change type ..

Then choose development correction..

When I execute the program RSTXTRAN what should i enter in teh field name of teh correction. I mean the transport number but for a request i see 2 numbers witha difference of 1.

Also How would i move it from one client to another in the same system, moving from dev 30 to dev 50.

Name of correction - Specify your task number.

Text key - object - TEXT

Text key - name- Std text name

Text key - ID - ST

Use RSTXTCPY to copy between clients.

hi,

You should give the <b>Request Number</b> in the program RSTXTRAN not the task number.

<b>Note : You should be the owner of the request while you are attaching the standard text to the request.</b>

Standard texts do not ask for any transport request. Use program RSTXTRAN to transport the standard text.

In SE10 or SE09. Goto Menu Request/task and click on change type to change it development/correction.

Hi,

Steps..

Create a work bench CR in the transaction SE09..

Modify the task to Development correction / Repair..

Go to the program RSTXTRAN..

In the name of correction give the task number (Not the CR number)

Give the Text Key..Your standard text name..

Press F8...

Press select all..

Then Press enter..

Then press the button "Trsfr texts to corr".

Now the standard texts will be moved to a CR..

Then release the CR and move it to QA..

If you want to move it to another client..

Use the transaction SCC1.

Hello All,

I am using the same process as mentioned above but it is displaying the error message "Cannot transport client-specific objects. Please help me how can i resolve this issue.
