Transporting autorization object

A custom authorization object was created but never transported. How do i transport this authorization object.

I tried to transport from SU03 but unable to transport the authorization object.

Can someone please help me.

Hi Jayroop,

During creation it shd pop up for a transport request.

Please check for open transport requests (Unreleased) may be if they contain this Object.

I would check the Object defintion and let u know how to search for the same in SE03 the object...

hello jayroop,

This is simple.Instead of SU03 try Su21. Initial screen will show object class. click on the appropriate one then click on the authorization object to be transported. A pop up would come asking for where used list of the object. Simply close it by selecting the cross icon. Dont press enter or tick mark. It will be uneccesarry. Once you close it another pop up would come on which you will find the save option. Select it and it would prompt you for a transport request. Save the changes in a request and move it.

Hi Ruchit,

I also facing the same problem to transport existing customize object.

I followed your instruction properly but when i double click on the object, pop up "Display authorization object"come on. No save option there.

I change to edit mode (Pencil Icon) and then only save option appear. But when i click on save, It just said "Oject was saved". No transport request was prompt.

I'm using R3 4.6C nway.

Halim,

After you click on the pensil icon and enter the edit mode, do not click on Save.

Rather, click on "back" arrow button, this will again take you to the initial pop-up window that you got, on this pop-up window you will now see the "save" button. When you click on this save button, you will get the transport request pop-up

Hello All,

Finally I realize that previous creator has put the object in package “$TMP”.

No wonder it can’t be transport to the production client.

However I already create a new similar object and follow Ruchit guide.

Everything working fine when I put it in respective package at “Create Object Directory Entry” pop up window.
