Hello I have some programs and a message class in QAS and want to move it to DEV.

I have copied and pasted the programs but I am kind of thinking how would I do fot the message class. there are like 50 messages. Do i need to copy each one and paste or is there a way that i could download from QAS and upload in DEV.

I think you probably have to manually move the messages from QA to DEV..

Hi,

I believe the transport routes will be defined one way i.e from dev->Quality. If your quality system is configured for back transport then you can transport entries from Quality to Dev else it is not possible. Take help of your Basis.

Yes you would have to manually move the message class from QA to DEV

You could use Cntl Y to copy all at one time

Hi Shejal,

I am afraid you need to copy manually from QAS to DEV due to your system transport request layer (DEV -> QAS -> PRD) and not vice versa.

The system transports will happen gerally from DEV->QAS_>PRD.

If the message classes are avialable in QAS means that they need to be in DEV.

You can't transport, but you should be able to cut and paste more than one at a time.
